Photographs: Four Seasons of Nature at the Historic Rachel Carson House

I’m delighted to announce that I have been awarded an FY24 Artists & Scholars Project Grant. I will be engaging in a year-long project at the historic Silver Spring residence where Rachel Carson authored “Silent Spring”, the book that launched the modern environmental movement. Join me as I photograph the wildlife, trees, and native plants through the changing seasons at this suburban landmark.

Joanne Miller is supported in part by funding from the Montgomery County Government and the Arts & Humanities Council of Montgomery County.
